Hi,
Welcome to ehealthforum.
The gastritis could also be caused due to pregnancy. The light periods, breast swelling, abdominal cramps & heaviness could be suggestive of pregnancy. Urine pregnancy tests can show false negative results during early pregnancy due to less concentration of pregnancy hormone HCG in urine. Pregnancy testing kits have calibration done so the hormones need to reach a certain level in urine to result in positive result. A blood HCG test done would also help to confirm/rule out pregnancy (blood HCG test are accurate than urine pregnancy test).
Take care.
