Hello,

Welcome to ehealthforum and thanks for writing

Since you have been trying to conceive for a year and not successful you definitely require a detailed evaluation to rule out the cause.Fibroids and thyroid hormone abnormality can be a major contributive factor in this. The medication Clomid which you have mentioned has to be taken under Medical Supervision as it is usually prescribed for hormonal imbalance in case of PCOD.Have you been prescribed this as it is not to be taken just for five days.

If your cycles are irregular first that needs to be corrected and check whether you are ovulating or not.Kindly avoid self medication and visit a Gynaecologist for appropriate treatment. You also require an Ovulation study to see egge release which would help in planning for conception accordingly.

Take care!
