Hi, I have a question reguarding pregnancy. My periods are pretty irregular. My long time boyfriend and I had unprotected sex the pay of my period ending which was 09/20/09. He told me that he came inside of me. Three days later I started feeling slightly sick and I have been feeling a heaviness in my lower abdominal area, like period cramping. So am I pregnant? I really hope I am!

Hi
Welcome to the forum!
Your symptoms (feeling slightly sick and a heaviness in lower abdominal area, like period cramping) can be due to infection or a normal pre menstrual symptom. There is a possibility that you are about to get your period or there was infection introduced during sex as around the periods the female genitalia are very susceptible to infection.
If you had unprotected sex on the day your period ended, it is quite unlikely that you are pregnant. The day the period ends, is generally a safe day of the cycle when usually no pregnancy is expected on unprotected sex. However if your cycle is very short like the period can come after 21 to 25 days then it is possible that you could be pregnant.
You can take a pregnancy test on your due date if you miss your period. A confirmed diagnosis of the condition cannot be given on net. Hence if you miss your period consult a gynecologist too. Hope this helps. Take care!
