I last had sex in september 2010.But about a month+ ago i started feeling a heaviness in my lower abdomen especially which has the tendency to move though nothing shows on the surface of my tummy.I have not had any typical pregnancy signs and my menses are still regular although the last one was light and short(3 days).I,on few occasions have felt weak, nauseated and dizzy which i attributed to things other than pregnancy.Presently i have noticed that my abdomen is slightly bigger(when i am undressed),but i try to convince myself that it is weight gain and the urine pregnancy test i did yesterday came negative.I am still worried that i might be pregnant because just when i think i am not,i feel that moving heaviness in my abdomen.Could this be something psychological or real?

Hi, and thanks for your medical question on eHealth forum!

If September 2010 was the last time you had sex, then it cannot be pregnancy as pregnancy that old would show up by now. In all probability the heaviness is due to gas, IBS, urinary bladder infection, worms in stool or due to PCOD. Since a confirmed diagnosis cannot be given on net please consult your gynecologist regarding this. Hope this helps. Take care!
