i started yaz over a year ago and have loved it up until the past few months..i've noticed my period is much heavier than usual..i used to be fine using regulars(tampons) but I'm really considering switching to supers which I'ver NEVER used even before I was on birth control...i was sure birth control was supposed to shorten and LIGHTEN periods but these past few months I swear have been ridiculous..they are shorter, only lasts 2-3 days instead of the usual 5 mine used to last...but seriously...i've gotten up twice tonight having issues and i'm trying to SLEEP! any reason it could be getting heavier? I love yaz i've had no problems with it as far as side effects so i really dont want to switch b.c. but this is getting old
