It is not really possible to tell over the internet, with any certainty.

However, sometimes a disorder with the nerve will cause the patient to have a sensation of warmth or burning. Usually, this shows up in the area that is innervated by that nerve (or nerves).


So, if the sensation does not go away shortly, you may want your physician to take a look at the foot.
