Hey
I'm 19 and have always been an athlete. A few months ago, I woke up and my heart rate was abnormally high, around 108. It slowly tapered off for a few days and now I have resting heart beat of 70-75. I had an ekg, echo, and wore a monitor for 24 hours and everything checked out. Before this happened, I had a resting heart rate of about 60 bpm. Now, if I climb the stairs or even walk briskly, my heart rate goes up to about 110 within seconds. Also, if I play soccer or do a hard workout, my heart rate rockets up to around 170 or higher. I notice my heart rate a lot more now and it seems much louder, pounding. I just can't seem to figure out why my heart started beating faster without warning. Even waking up in the morning, its around 80. Any suggestions?
Thanks
