I am a 21 y/o male and for the past two days I have felt weird heartbeats. I know a bunch of paramedics and I did and EKG which showed a sinus rhythmn with an occasional PVC like every 6 minutes or so. When I did the EKG I was feeling them a little bit, but it seems like they are more frequent now. A couple of days ago I drank alot of Coffee for school (like 3-4 days ago) could this be a cause? Like I said I have never felt them before but the past 2 days I have been feeling them it seems like every few minutes. Is this something that I should be worried about? Other than feeling them I feel absolutely fine. Pulses feel normal but they do correspond to the feeling of the weird heart beat everyfew minutes.

I would talk to a cardiologist about this. Sometimes a Beta Blocker can help these symtoms.

Caffeine and stress can cause palpitations. They are usually benign but some can lead to irregular or fast heart rates. If they are becoming more frequent it wouldn't be a bad idea to have them checked out. The cardiologist may order a heart monitor or a stress test. In the meantime cut back on the caffeine.
