Hello I am 18 years old, around 2 months ago I went through anxiety. I suffered from dramatic hair fall, weight loss and disturbing thoughts of death. Thankfully I am a lot better now but recently I am getting heart flutters, where my heart feels like it's jumping out of my chest or it skips a beat. I'd like to also add that I have acid reflux/heartburn. Also my period is due in a few days. Could this be dangerous or could it be due to my anxiety acid reflux or period symptoms?

Hello and welcome to e health forum.

It seems that you may be having excessive anxiety issues. Your symptoms of palpitations are most likely due to anxiety related issues, rather than that of severe cardiac diseases.

You might consult with your doctor for a examination, which will help you clear your doubts about your health concerns.

In addition, consultation with a psychiatrist will also help you to manage your stress and anxiety effectively. This in turn will help you live and enjoy your life.
