i am not feeling well since yesterday, feeling hot flashes, headache, chest pain,.
today i am having a pain in my left arm, and some numbness in my left face..
my husband is assuring me that it is an anxiety attack and stress because we just lost a young girl suddenly in our town. also because i used to have similar pain before and did all the test and didn't find anything wrong with my heart.
recently my doctor told me that my LDL , the bad cholesterol is high and she put me on diet. i am 34 years old female and over weight and that is why i worry from heart attack. my dad did a heart operation because he had some arteries blocked due to cholesterol.

Hello,
Welcome to the ehealthforum and I am really glad to help you out. Any chest pain is cardiac unless proved otherwise. You need to get an EKG or ECHO done to rule it out. Other causes may be gastroesophageal reflux disease(GERD), costochondritis, muscular pain, lung diseases or anxiety neurosis as well.

please get these tests done from a physician and if they come negative then you may need some anxiolytics prescribed. Anxiety and anxiety neurosis can cause chest pain which may mimic heart disease.

I sincerely hope that helps. Take care.
