Hello..I'm 16 years old and I was wondering whether I might have some sort of Schizophrenia...I don't have hallutionations..But I do hear loads of people calling my name and when i do respond I am told nothing has been said. I do imtate people's movements and speech alot without thinking. My friends and family know me for having many different personalities and now I usually have a habit of changing my mood very quickly, like sometimes I can feel extremly depressed but then I'm laughing hysterically. I find this frustrating sometimes but I can't help it. An its probably important to know my uncle is Schizophrenic and family has a history of mental illness.

I think you should see a doctor very soon. Do you have hallucinations in the house? Maybe you have a mood disorder, but it could be nothing too. The best thing you could do is keep track of anything going on with you, and your moods, and tell your doctor and your parents about it.

Na u sound like me. I have exactly the same as u im 15, and ive been diagnosed as schizophreniic. If i was u, see ur gp, or find a counseller, who should refer u to a pshychiatrist. thats wat happend to me. i should be starting meds soon. 1 quick question, does ur mind constantly feel full, as if there are too many thoughts, and that u cant stop these thoughts?

This could possibly be the symptoms of Bi-Polar disorder. It's taken me until I turned 40 to realize that I and my family have all suffered from this. It can be a nightmare.
