Q: Hearing Conversations That Don't Exsits

Hi,

I have been hearing conversations that don't exists. I will be in my room and hear my boyfriend and my roommates talking about me (So I think) then I will confront my boyfriend about the conversation I heard and he says I am crazy that i never happened. This has been on going for almost a year now. Am I loosing ,my mind?

You are not losing your mind, however, this could be a symptom of an undiagnosed mental disorder. Hearing voices is an auditory hallucination. This can occur with several mental disorders and brain anomalies. Tell your parents about this. You need to see a doctor. A neurologist can rule out any neurological reason for these voices. A psychiatrist can evaluate you for any mental disorder. Either way you need to find out the reason for the voices and get the appropriate treatment. I hope this helps.
