Just had a doctor's visit today. I was weighed and kind of freaked when the scale read 150lbs! I am a female that is 5'2". I felt the healthiest at about 130-135lbs. My doctor said that my metabolism could be changing, since I've steadily gained weight over the last couple of years. It's strange tho...I've gone from a stead 105-115 in my late teen years and early 20's. Now that I am almost 27 I find that I am gaining weight. I do have my "fat" days where I just feel miserable, and few days where I feel good about myself. I guess I'm just looking for some friendly support and maybe an answer as to weather 150lbs is okay for my height. The strange thing is that I gain the weight in my thighs (big time!) my stomach and butt. So...I don't know. I don't think I'm obese, but my weight doesn't seem to fit any of the standard weight charts for women. I don't feel that I have a typical body type and I am struggling with trying to be healthier.
Anyway, any women or even men who may have an answer, opinion or support....please, feel free to post. Not only am I looking for help and support, but maybe my post will help someone else with the same issue.

Thanks.

I'm 5'2" and was miserable at 154 lbs. I'm comfortable at my current weight of 117.

Weight blossomed to 154 due to a medication side effect...yah!

115-130 lbs for 5'2" frame is ideal.
