I have been getting shooting pains on the left side of my head, behind my eye to the back of my head and down my neck.. this only happens when having sexual activity close to the end... the pains usually only last 15 min max.. but recently the pain has lasted up to 12 hours.. I have been in to see doctors, who don't seem to know what to do besides give me pain killers, while that is great to have after the headache sets in its not fixing the problem.. should I be worried about a brain tumor? The doctor has done a physical evaluation and said that from that it seems that I don't need to worry, but feel that there is something not right... Any advice??

I think I might be able to help...
i have a problem very close to yours and it may be your cervical spine. I have a "backwards" cervical spine. the normal cspine is a 45 degree arch and mine is a -2 in the opposite direction. my discs are about 1/2 an inch thick rather than the normal thick discs. i have painful shooting pains up my head and my headaches are around the top of the head, around the eyes, it makes my eyes twitch and blurred vision, some headaches are constant for days. i went to a chiropractor, he made it worse he put severe tears in several of my ligaments. i went to a doc that can fix it all in 4-6 months but i sure can afford it. all my docs can do is pain meds and muscle relaxers. next time you go to the doc, tell them to xray your neck. I have been living with this pain daily for almost 3 years. it does get a little better, i havent had to go to the ER to make them stop in a long time, but I wont jinx myself. here is a little advice...thermacare heat neck wraps, neck pillows, support under your neck when you sleep, heating pads, and hot showers help. also during a headache ice on the forehead. it sucks i feel for you i really do...just remember it could be your neck i hope that can help you a little. but i can sympathize with your pain i really can I hope you get it all figured out
