I get regular tension headaches (about once per fortnight) which start in my kneck and last a couple of days. Codeine and ibuprofon seem to control the pain. But 10 days ago I started getting another headache and this time it buiklt into a very bad one which involved the vomitting of yellow bile half a dozen times for two days. I was bedridden. It then seemd to improve somewhat but now for the past five days I have bad nausea and it feels like a headache is constantly about to erupt but it doesn't. I feel droopy in the face and head and have a residual fogginess. Sleep helps a lot but the symptoms start to reappear by midmorning and then I have to take pain killers and sleep to get any relief. Yesterday a pharmacist suggested I take Anagraine (Maloxon plues paracetemol)and this seemed to treat the symptoms b ut then i got such a bad reaction to the drup (restlessness, anxiety, tight jaw) that i ended up in the ER where they said I had indeed reacted to the Maxolon). It's proving almost impossible to carry on with my work and regular life. The symptoms don't seem to be getting worse but they are fairly constant and debilitating, especially the nausea.
