Headaches in middle of forehead

My son has been having headaches for about a month and a half on and off. Here in the past few days, the headaches are hanging on. They are in the middle of his forehead. Sometimes they radiate from the center to above the eyes. He saw a doctor yesterday and got a prescription of antibiotics and nose spray and a pill for muscle tension. Doctor said if there is no improvement in 2 weeks that he may do CT scan to check sinuses. Had his eyes checked and he has 20/20 vision. He has had sinus and allergy problems in the past but does not show any signs of sinus infection a this time. I can look at him and tell he does not feel as good as he normally does.
