Q: Headaches and arm & leg pain

Hi,

Just wondering if anyone can help me. My 3 1/2 year old daughter is constantly complaining of pains in her arms and legs and has been for about a year now. I was informed this was probably due to growing pains. Just recently she has also been complaining of headaches, almost daily. She is still very active and these headaches and pains most often seem to occur first thing in the morning and late in the afternoon.
She has been through a difficult time with witnessing abuse in the home and her father being removed by police. She now has had no contact with him for about 6 months.
Could these symptoms be pschological and a cry for attention?
Hope someone can advise me on what action i should take.

i took her to doctors about 3 months ago and they basically said she was experiencing growing pains and she would groow out of it eventually, but if the pain got worse to take her back, the pains she get don't seem to be worse but when i looked up growing pains on the internet it said that it affected mostly boys and came on at bedtime, she can complain of it at any time during the day.

doctors can be wrong! the doctors told my mom her right breast is fine and months later her breast started to bleed and she was in the last stage of breast cancer.
she had it removed and had to get meds for five years.
i would get a second opinion by another doctor just to be safe.
