Hi. I am new with your community and have some questions regarding acupressure and headaches. I have a friend who suffers from horrible headaches, worse than migraines, due to a brain disease that I cannot even pronounce much less spell. I used acupressure wristbands when I was pregnant because of morning sickness and decided attempt making her something that would work to ease the pain caused by these headaches of hers. My company makes acupressure wristbands and thought I would give it a shot. It seems I have developed a product that utilizes pressure points in your hands to assist/alleviate headaches. I sent them to my friend and amazingly enough they worked. She had a headache coming on, put the product on and her symptoms disappeared. Now I KNOW that this product will not work on everyone one, they are not a medical device, I am not a doctor..... I am truly shocked that they worked my friend. So what do you think/believe about acupressure and headaches? Is it possible that I have found a solution for some? or do you believe that it is mind over matter?
And if it is just the thought of feeling better that makes the difference....then is there a difference? If you feel better then is that not enough?
