Q: Headache 3 weeks post Myelogram

I had a myelogram approx. 3 weeks ago and I am still experiencing a headache. I passed on the bloodpach because I was told that it should subside on its own (hindsight mistake). I have 2 questions. 1: is it normal for a headache post myelogram to be present 3 weeks post. 2: is it to late to have a bloodpatch done. Any help in this matter would be greatly appreciated.

Extremely eHealthy
When experiencing a persistent headache after myelogram, that doesn't respond to regular pain killers, the bloodpatch is recommended, since it can stop the headache immediately.
In other words, blood patches are effective at stopping post myelogram headaches anytime between 24 hours and several weeks after the procedure.
The first blood patch is effective in 70% of patients, a second blood patch increases the effectiveness to 95%.

Best wishes!
