A while ago i discovered a small pea sized
hard lump on the top centre of my head, i
have not had this checked out. On Tuesday
(20/05/08) i came back from my holiday
abroad, it was a 2 hour flight and ever
since i have been getting a pressure
headache which comes and goes all day and
does not go when i take paracetamol, it is
in the same area on the right hand side of
my head, and now (today) i have started to
get small stabbing pain all over my body
which feel like pin pricks these happen at
irregular intervals, i am now starting to
feel quite tired and irritable. I now feel
very concerned about this situation, and
would like your opinion on the matter,
thankyou.

Current medical status: Head pressure
pain.
Given your symptoms (headache, pricking
pain all over the body, tiredness,
irritability…) it doesn’t seem likely
to me that you have a brain tumor. You
might have a tension headache provoked by
anxiety. You can visit your primary
health provider to get a physical
examination and standard blood analyses.
If the headache continues you can also
consult a neurologist.
