Two days ago my head started aching. It must have happened overnight because the headache actually woke me up. It is a strong pulsating headache on the right side of my head it almost feels as if theres air pressure in there. I can feel that "pressure" behind my right eye aswell as that side of my head the worst part is that it wont go away, i tried tylenol and other brand names and nothing. It is the first time I've had a headache for so long and on the same spot. Normally they go away with tylenol but not this time and i am worried it might be something else.

Headache and Migraines Answer A8635
Hello,

Welcome to the ehealthforum and I am really glad to help you out.

Your concern is regarding the headaches that you are having. From the symptoms it looks like a primary headache like a cluster headache. Try OTC medicines like aspirin or acetaminophen. For headache pain that cannot be controlled with pain relievers, antidepressants, or beta-blockers, anti-convulsants may be prescribed. Use a cold compress to the area of pain, rest in a room with little or no sensory stimulation (light, sound, and odors) and withdraw from stressful surroundings.

If the headaches still persist then please consult a neurologist. It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are advised to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care.
