Hi there, pls help. I did my sinus op at Brenthurst Clinic in January 2009. To date i still suffer with headaches and as at now 2904/2009 i am totally blocked. I have orange/ brown weak fluid pouring out of my nose. I tried to get ahold of the doctor who did my op. he cannot be contacted on his mobile. What do i do? is this normal?

Recovery can take few months
Well, I am not a doctor but since I have also gone for sinus operation I have heard that the recovery process differs for individuals. I had my sinus surgery back in July last year (2008) and it took me well above 2 and a half months to recover and feel the difference and interestingly I feel like I am still recovering (even after 9 months have passed). So, I have a strong feeling you should wait more. Since there is brown fluid pouring out of your nose seems like your healing process inside the nasl cavity is not completed as yet. The best thing would be to get in contact with the doctor who operated you. Hope that helps.
