For the last week i have had a pain in the front left side of my head. It will come and go. It feels like someone is squeezing my head and then the pain will go away after a hour or so, then come back an hour or so later.. I wake up with the same pain and find myself getting light headed at times. What could this be?

Although rare, the tension headache can be unilateral or one sided pain.
It is felt as a constant, tight, pressing pain, mild or moderate in severity, located in the frontal, temporal, occipital, or parietal area (with frontal and temporal regions most commonly affected).
Occasional dizziness, disturbed concentration and irritability, difficulty falling asleep and staying asleep, general muscle aches and fatigue, headache upon awakening or later in the morning, are some of the features of the tension headache.
