Hello there,

I got infested with head lice (school, hairdresser ?) but I think I got rid of it... I went 3 weeks on holidays and applied loads of different treatments to my hair (Oil, more aggressive treatments..) every 2 days. Combed them for half hour with 2 different combs (metal and plastic one). I used to clean my combs and all my accessories and towels and the rest every day. I have done everything proper.
Came back home after those 3 weeks treatments and carried on 2 times once a week and then stopped. (a total of 5 weeks treatment)
So, It should be done and over with ?

Now, 3 weeks later, I find myself a bit paranoid. I am really aware of any itch who can occur thinking... "Could it be back ?" My scalp is usually dry but it has being much worse since I used all those products.

The problem is : Today I used one of my combs today to scratch and verified my head. I have found loads of white/yellowish similar shape eggs/nits in my comb. As my hair were breaking/falling, I dread to think they were quite close to my scalp ?! I did not find any lice though.
Am I still infected ? Is it empty shells ?
I scratch my head a lot in general ??? My partner doesnt have any lice. I could not catch any from my flat as I was treated when I was away for 3 weeks. I treated myself for 5 weeks.

Please, can I have a reassuring answer to this ?
