About 6 years I had an accident at home and suffered a head injury just over my right eye. I didn't know what to do and did not go to the doctor for several days. Xrays did not show a fracture. However, the swelling above my eye has never gone down and has left an ugly bump, which I assume is calcified bone, above my eye and the area between my eye and eyebrow looks swollen all the time. This not only makes me look disfigured, but if I rub the bump, it is still a bit painful. I developed constant sinus problems since the accident and have wierd headaches that seem to originate from the lump and cross my head like in a straight line. I would appreciate any advice on what to do about this bump.

Since you have a functional as well as a cosmetic concern, The place to start is with your family doctor and a referral to a plastic surgeon for evaluations and advice.
