Youve been put through the ringer havent you? I guess medical practitioners have a thin rope to walk on. If they call the pregnancy non viable and give you an injection of methotrexate now prior to confirmation of ectopic pregnancy via transvaginal ultrasound you are just as likely to have a uterine pregnancy that is threatened by the injection and we would consider them acting in haste, yet if they are concerned that the pregnancy is not viable and postpone diagnosis because they want to be more accurate, could run the risk of you rupturing your tube and requiring life saving surgery and then we would think they were negligent. Thats why Im glad Im not an obstetrician.

from the research I have done most ectopics rupture at around the 7-12 weeks. Good luck, I hope you find answers and a healthy baby soon. Todayectopic at blogspot is my story. Take care!
