Q: HBs Antigen Contamination

I have a question regarding the HBs Antigen.
I am 21 years old and I have been diagnosed with HBs present when I was about 3 or 4 . I lead a healthy way of life, don’t smoke or drink.
I had my lab tests done last year and my physician did not prescribe any medication.
My question is : HOW is this virus transmitted ( if at all ). I wonder if it can be transmitted through sexual contact be it protected or not, by kissing or by household items not properly washed.
I eagerly await an answer from a doctor or a “ patient ” who knows what he is talking about.
Thanks.
