I stopped taking birth control a year ago. I had regulars period till July then I had none for july-october. Then the beginning of november I had a light spotting for about 4 days then about a week later i had a normal flow for 5 days. Then about 8 days after that I started having this brownish/redishish stuff comming out. And it wasn't even heavy, just when I wipe and ocassionally it will b heavier but a panty liner catches it and that spotting had been going on for about 8 days and im still having that issue currently. Should I be worried? I am trying to get pregnate and the doc said my pap looked good and blood work all came back fine. I have not had any weight loss or gain or nothing out of the normal stressful going on

Hi,
Welcome to ehealthforum,
Sudden appearance of bleeding, brown spotting could suggest chances of infection, cervical erosion/dysplasia, pregnancy, hormonal changes, thyroid hormonal abnormalities etc. If your last PAP smear test was more than 6 months ago, you should consider going ahead with getting repeat evaluation one. Visit your gynecologist/obstetrician at the earliest for further evaluation to look for the underlying cause for the abnormal discharge. Treatment as appropriate will be started to help you (based on the examination findings and investigation results).
If you have been trying for pregnancy and have not been successful, you should consider getting a complete infertility work-up done for you and your partner to see if there are any underlying causes for the infertility/inability to conceive. Treatment as needed (based on examination and investigations results) would be started to help you get pregnant. Consider visiting your gynecologist/obstetrician for further evaluation and assistance and be in regular follow-up and monitoring as instructed.
Take care.
