I`ve recently broken off from my partner of ten years and it has effected me quite badly, so much so that I am on medication from the doctor and have been suffering from depression and panic attacks and find it difficult to go out of the house, I am presently on sickness benefit from my work and finding it difficult to move forward, most days I just lie on the sofa and watch the TV, at the moment I cant see any end to this, I feel I`m not improving after nearly 2 month suffering.

You can't self destruct over it!
Breaking up is always a hard thing to so. I think it's a very natural and normal thing to be upset about the end of a ten year relationship but rest assured that you will recover. Ever heard the saying and I quote "time heal all wounds". well relationship wise I think that saying is very true. The body has a way of recovering from these things. I think it'll take you between 6 - 12 months to completely move forward from this break up. remember medication just covers the problem. Sometimes it's better to deal with the issue head on.
