glance Hello: I am a 60 y/o f that had a partial Hyst back in 86. Since then I had no problems until this year. I started having bad brownish discharge and had to wear pads. It was the color of old blood; coffee colored. I had no idea where it was coming from; yet i thought it might be blood. I went to have an exam and the PA said I needed to see a GYN SPEC,seeing how it appeared to be STOOl, but wanted me to have a vag exam first. It turns out that I have to have Colonoscopy now since over 2 yrs ago I had 2 pre milignant polyps. Is it posssible to have this discharge with Colon Cancer. I am having bad stomach aches and back pain for some time now. I have lost wt and am concerned about this, seeing how back in Jan I had a massive DVT and PE and almost died. Any ideas??? Hi Spanish and welcome to ehealth: It is possible that there is a connection with your earlier problems...However, until they check this out they cannot tell you...It is possible for this discharge to be coming from your colon if this has found an area to leak through into your vagina...My best advice is to get to your Specialist and have this done as soon as possible...Take care...

Hi Caroline: Thank You for the quick reply.. I have been concerned about this, seeing how my mother had urterine bleeding after and ended up with a total HYST, but then died from Pancreatic Cancer at 74. I get such bad pelvic cramps and sometimes bad nausea. I did get a call today from my dr and said I am having the COLONOSCOPY AUG 30th. So... I will keep in touch after having done.. thanks again..
