Hi, i was once suffering from ulcers, to be precise erosive gastritis and this was confirmed after i under went endoscopy.I took medication and the problem cooled down. I developed problem in passing stool, and i was given IGOL to help me out.Now the problem has normalized> i also developed a burning sensation on my legs and arms and after de-worming it vanished completely.My current problem is that my ribs are having a serious burning sensation which is troubling me and they are wearing out at the same time.When i try to seek for medical help am told its dehydration.I don't know whether to marry that advise or go for scans to establish what is bedeviling me.Yearning to get your response.

Hi, welcome to the ehealth forum and I am glad to help you.
You seem concerned by the burning sensation in the ribs and wearing down of the ribs for last 2 years with weight remaining intact. You have also made a mention of being treated for erosive gastritis with medications sometime back.
As the symptoms that you have described, it might be the recurrence of acid peptic disease which can be substantiated with few investigations including upper GI endoscopy. You can discuss the same with your personal physician and start treatment on those lines.
