Sleep Disorders Answer A21455

In routine terms, you seem to be a long sleeper. As long as you don't have any other symptoms suggestive of any psychological or physical problems, this appears to be a sleep disorder. Hypersomnia is a condition which has symptoms similar to yours. You may need to consult a Sleep Specialist or a Physician to start with. You may also be asked to check for Thyroid dysfunction. A low functioning thyroid can make you sleep more.

Hope this helps.
