Hi everyone, I'm taking lithium, lamictal, lexepro and Soroquel. I have a real problem taking the seroquel. Aked my dr 3 weeks ago if he would reduce it but he felt I was on the correct dose. I'm seeing him again next week. I really believe that the seroquel is responsible for me being so tired, not getting out of bed some days at all. Having little or no energy except when I get a burst of energy for a week or two and then I'm back to feeling terrible, not wanting to do anything, not eating properly etc. Personally I think less medication is better than more. What does anyone else think?

It may be not the seroquel itself, but its effects in combination with your other meds. Lithium, seroquel and lexapro are all central nervous system depressants. You kind of should be tired all the time on that combo (dosage dependent, of course).

Keep a log of the troubles you're having with side effects and show it to your doc when you go back in.

Seroquel
Thanks for that. I suppose I'm more cluded in about lithium rather than any of the other meds. Seroquel was the last that was introduced (400mg) when I was hospitalised about 18 months ago. I'm now taking 200mg but I've always blamed it for the tiredness, lack of energy etc.
