have a misscarried? bleeding and tennis ball size clots 5 weeks

Ill start from the beginning; i was taking the birth control pill Yasmin for the past three years. i miss a few last month and was also sick. i took my break as usual around 24/04 nad had my withdrawal bleed all normal apart from it took a extra few days to start th bleed after the week i continued taking the pill as usual, the bleeding continued for an extra 2 weeks, not heavy just a light bleed, i didnt have to use a sanitry towel just a light colour when i wiped after the toilet, this happened for 2 weeks so i went the doctors she did a routine pregnancy test which cam back positive, she rang the early pregnancy assesment unit as i was bleeding for a scan they said we could see her now but shes only 5 weeks so theres no point she has to wait a week. the doctor said this happened to her as i have a threatened miscarriage and its a horrible week.

So obviously i stopped taking my birth control that day (last thursday) my bleeding got much heavier on sunday i spoke to my mum as she is a nurse and works in family planning she said its only my normal withdrawel bleed and it wont last long its happens to lots of people she sees and theres no need to worry. tuesday (yesterday) i felt something was off i rang the EPA unit as the dr said i should if the bleeding gets worse, they told me changing 3 pads a day isnt heavy only if im fillinh a sanitry towel or clotting should i come in. I had slight period pains that afternoon i went the toilet at around 6pm and a large clott fell out arounfd the size of a tennis ball, obviously the NHS are crap and the EPA unit shut a 5pm so i ended up on the Gyno ward in ten minutes i had filled a sanity towel and my leggings was full of blood, i was seen to by a jr doctor who tried to look were the bleeding was coming from but obviously he couldnt cause of the amount of blood, after having my bp and bloods taken the resident came and scanned me with an abdomial scan and couldnt see anything he said if im only 5/6 weeks nothing will show up, my selincie (i think thats how he prounced it) was good and i should just go for my internal scan as usual on thursday morning. oh inbetween docs i had to use the loo and another clot the same size came out and when i got home 2 small ones. today doesnt seem that bad i have had little clots but the bleeding isnt has heavy and had no pain, have a misscarried and i cant bare waiting any longer?? i know this baby wasnt planned but my boyfriend and i was so happy and im just heartbroken now. has this happened to anybody and ended well? - oh i was resting all day day as i was told and the nurse said clotting is common if that happened but surely not that much.
