Hi everyone. I've been with my bf for about 3 years and I still find it hard to trust him. One moment I do, but as soon as I hear something from someone about him, I lose my trust for him. He's not the perfect bf, but he says he has really grown as a person and wont do the things he used to do to hurt me. He makes alot of sense when he talks to me about trust, but I just can't seem to trust him like he trusts me. I really want to but don't know how. Does anyone have advice that can help me learn to trust him like he trusts me? I don' t see us lasting too much longer b/c of my insecurities and I don't want that.

Hi curious059 and welcome to ehealth: How old is he?....He trusts you because you are trustworthy while he has proven himself not to be included in this catagory....IMO, you must trust your boyfriend/partner/husband or else they don't belong in this special field of chosen ones....Take care...

Thank you Caroline. He is 18. We've been through alot, by no means is our relationship perfect but I think I will just learn to trust him. I guess that's the risk I'll have to take while being in love
