I have had this problem for a few years - i'm 48 - and my doctor diagnosed anxiety. Although I didn't realise I was anxious or depressed about anything the beta blockers and mild anti-depressants he prescribed have helped. I still get the urge to take a deep breath but I don't struggle to do it like I used to. I didn't really want to take tablets every day but I would rather do this than yawn constantly and be tired all the time. I have even got to the point of making a doctors appointment to see if I can start to cut down on the medication as I seem to have it more or less under control at the mo! Hope everyone gets better! BTW the tablets are called Propanonol and Citalipram, worth a try.
