Q: hard time accepting HIV negative tests!

I know that sounds odd, but It has been 6 weeks since exposure and I have tested Negative, I have about 1 1/2 more until it's official. but so far negative, and I'm having a hard time believing that I don't, because I've lost like 30 lbs and I'm loosing at least a 1 lb a day, THERE HAS TO BE SOMETHING WRONG WITH THAT TEST? and my tonsils have been swollen since exposure. I don't k now why but I'm not really believing I don't have it? God Bless the Lord if i really don't, but It's just extremely unbelieveable to me ... beacuse the guy I did what I did with had sex with strippers! and over 40 woman. and he was homeless! So I don't know. Please help me Sad

It hasn't been long enough...6 weeks since exposure is not long enough...you have to wait 3 months and then get a blood test....even if you were exposed 6 weeks ago that is not enough time for you to be displaying any symptoms so you not eating and losing weight is stress or something else because if you were infected only 6 weeks ago with HIV it would not be doing any of that at such a rapid passe.That is unheard of.

Hey I know a lot of people always say 3 months is the waiting time for HIV but doctors will recommended a 6 month test as well. So sorry to tell you but you wait isn't over yet but I know how you feel.
