Hi, 3.5 weeks after TAH for big ovarian lesion which turned out to be benign adenofibroma. Surgery was done assuming it could have been cancer, so the omentum was removed and also node sampling. I have a vertical insicion which reaches about 2cm above belly button. I\'d expected to be feeling a little better by now, but my abdomen is hard and tender with a stinging/burning sensation. My GP said no sign if infection, and that it is induration which some people get and I should put something warm on it and just wait. Is this normal, and how long before it goes? Could it stay swollen a long time? I feel it's stopping me recovering, still feel exhausted! Thanks.
