Q: Hard lump under skin

Hello there,

Just wondering if you could give me a little advice as to whether my current symptom is anything to worry about or not.

For a month or two maybe a little longer I've had a hard lump under the skin just above my belly button. It doesnt particularly hurt to the touch nor in general, and there is no discharge or puss etc. I would say it was probably the size of a marble.

The only time it gives any discomfort at all is when I lie on my side, it feels as though its been stretched and is 'slightly' painful but more just not very reassuring that its there.

I think theres a good chance I did this while doing stomach exercises at the gym 2 months ago or so but just wanted to check theres nothing else more exotic it might be?

If you can offer any advice or need to know anything more please let me know. Look forward to hearing from you.

Best regards

Luke.
