Q: Hard itching lump around anus

I have found a hard pea sized lump that is half inside/outside of the anus. It does not seem to move and is hard. It started 4 weeks ago. At the first 3 days of growing, it was very pain. After that it stablized. No pain at all, even when you press it, and just a little burning. Exactly same color as the surrounding skin. No head, liquid at all. After 3 weeks I visited my physician and she said it was hemmroids, and sent me a medicine to soothe it. I doubt about it as I never have any problem with poop, no constipation, no bleeding. Everything else is fine. However, 2 days ago, my whole anus starts to itch so much, I even can not sleep at night. It is not only the place of pea feeling the itch, but the whole outside of anus.

I would appreciate if you can help me out with this nasty state all day long.

Have you experienced some fecal leakage recently?
Have you noticed any bleeding during bowel movements?

Everything is fine except...
No leakage, no bleeding, no trouble with stool at all. In the last couple days, it started itching so much, I can feel rash on the ouside of my anus. The bad thing is it is itching more inside my anus which I can do nothing but suffer.

This could be a genital wart, benign growth caused by HPV infection.
It can appear on, around and inside the anus, as a single growth or cluster of bumps.
They usually raise on damp or moist surfaces of the body beginning as tiny, soft pink or red spots, developing into small, white/yellow/gray bumpy warts on the sex organs and anus.
Itching, burning and less frequently pain discomfort, are the symptoms.
An anal polyp is not excluded, too.
You'll need to be examined with anoscope or biopsied.

Practice good hygiene (washing the area after every bowel movement), and try to put some topic cream with substance that alleviates the itchiness (usually, creams for hemorrhoids has that kind of component that helps with itchiness)

Best wishes!

I too have the same problem that is why I am on this site have you found the answer or got biopsied? chenww? we have the same manifestations, hard polyp bean like on the anus and half embedded on the tissue but mine is not that itchy like yours and i too doubt that it is a hemorrhoid because i thought that hemorrhoids are soft prolapsed vein not hard polyp-like.
