Hands turn blue

when my hands are cold they turn blue what can these be?

that doesnt sound good, you would have to see a doctor. that sounds like lack of oxygen or something along that line.

Hi booc,

Many people experience that. The arteries that carry blood to the fingers spasm become twitchy in response to the cold. Usually, it is the body trying to regulate blood flow.I don't know how old you are but sometimes in people over 35 it can an association to rheumatic, lupus or scleroderma. You should see your doctor for an evaluation just to be on the safe side.
