Q: Handjob HIV Risk ?

Hi,

I would like to ask whether if it’s possible to be contacted with HIV through “Hand-to-genital” (hand job) through this act:

I was in a cubical, toilet, and there was this guy who came in and offered to do a hand job. He was holding and touching his penis before he touches me.

He started doing the act, but I’M NOT SURE IF THERE’S ANY PRECUM/BLOOD/SEMEN in his hands. And let’s assume that he’s a positive HIV carrier and there’s infected blood/semen in his hand when he masturbated me – will I still be infected with HIV since it had been surrounded to the ‘air’ , and what about a small tiny ,cannot be seen cut on my genital area ?

Secondly, I’m not sure if I have any cut near my genital area. I don't have any visible and 'large' wound. My penis does not have any physical wound or skin tear. I shaved my pubic hair a while back and there was some cut. So ya.

After I had ejaculated, he used his finger and ‘dip’ into my penis (tip of penis) and tasted my semen. I’m uncircumcised and his ‘dip’ is just a quick dip.
Lastly, I was told that it’s almost impossible to have HIV through hand job but to clear my doubts:

- HIV cannot be spread outside its host. Does it mean that it must be penetration in order to have HIV and anything/any fluid/act that’s exposed to the surrounding, will be completely safe from HIV?

(P.S: It was all temptation. I regretted for my act and I’m very disturbed by it. I felt that I’m ‘dirty’ and unclean after being touched by a stranger. Should I go for counseling too ? I’m still not about legal age to have sex in my country yet and should I also go for HIV-test ? )

Thank you in advance for those who had replied. Sorry for my bad English. Haha (:

If you think you need counseling then go.The risk of getting HIV this way is pretty much non existent but I guess it is possible. Not likely but it could happen I suppose.I would not be concerned about it.Even if he had blood or some body fluid on his hand, the virus dies within seconds of exposure to air.If it was just masturbation then the chances are very very slim.Dont beat yourself up over it. If it really bothers you that much then do seek counsel.

Thank you for your reply.

Yupp - he masturbated me - and no other things were done. (Kissing , anal or whatsoever)

Although I had touched his genital for a three or more seconds - I assume that the risk of getting HIV is still very very slim right ?

However , I was reading some websites that mentioned that the virus may not die that fast though.

Its mutal masturbation or rather one sided (where I receieved it) - so again , its mutal masturbation and with the worst scenario , worst of the worsts where perhaps the possible HIV fluid went into a small invisible cut , very very little , I'll still be alright ?

Somehow , many had said that no such case of hand-genital case was ever recorded.

So my chances of contracting HIV is like .. being strike by a thunder where its still possible to be strike by thunder ?

I hope to hear a conclusive answer where I either have a zero risk (needless to worry about , somehow non existent of such event that had happened in my life) , or at risk ?

Once again , I would like to thank you very much for your kind attention and time ! Thank you (:

so with consideration to the worst of the worsts case ,the very worst where infected fluid get into my wound or such, I should rather be worrying about being strike by lighting then contracting HIV right?

And I do not need HIV-testing and live life peacefully , correct ?

With that answered , I think I should not be worrying that much and this thread maybe close and perhaps others viewers may find it useful ((:

Once again , thank you very much homerx ! xD

Well yeah worst case senario is that you had minute cuts surrounding your genitals and this man also had cuts or abbrasion's on his hands. That is saying that he even is HIV positive, the chance is slim but cannot be ruled out completly. To ease your mind you should get a blood test. However yes the chances are very slim.

worriedauzzi - as slim as being strike by thunder ? Very Happy

My genital areas doesn't seems to have any wound (like a big patch of wound with red patch [somehow like fresh injure with blood])

what I'm worried is that I maybe have small cuts [like penknife cut] , but it should be dry though.

How about pimple , also ?

I don't think the person have any blood but maybe precum .. and if he have got penknife cuts too ?

Arghh ... i can't imagine having to do for a blood test. Its scary and I still have to wait.

I'm just hoping someone would give me a conclusive answer and assurance with the worst senario being considered. Sigh ..

Thank you for those who had replied I really appreciate it !

Look nobody can give you a straight answer besides a blood test. It doesn't matter how big or small the cut is. What matters if any even a minute part of his blood/semen entered your body. No the risk is not like thunder because you entered into a sexual act with as you say 'shaving cuts' around your genitals. If he had abbrasions on his hands and is infected than there is a great chance that you also are. You need to get a blood test done, it is not scary getting a blood test, just the waiting is stressful. What you need to do is talk to a doctor and get a screening done. Then put it at the back of your mind whilst waiting for the results and not engage in sexual acts with strangers that could may have diseases. What country are you in? People on here can tell you that you are fine but the only way to find out is with a test. The fact is if you have cuts (it doesn't matter how large or small the wound is) and he also did AND that he in infected than yes there is a chnace of exposure to the virus. Now go to your doctor and talk it over with him then in 3months get a blood test.

Also as previously stated 'no reported case of passing on the virus via hand job'. A close friend of mine has under gone a case study on the virus and multiple cases he had, were from people who had no idea how they had become infected. In the case study were virgins, children of Hiv negative parents and so on. Aids is still not completly understood by scientists. I don't mean to scare you but a test is the only way to determin your status.
