Hi, I hurt my hand several months ago(6-7). I banged it pretty hard. The doctor told me it might be a hairline fracture but it was too small to tell. I got a splint and some pain medication, and I think he told me to check back or something if it still hurt. Now it got better, and I can do everything just fine, but it doesn't feel quite right if I stretch out my hand(within a normal range of motion. If feels kind of stressed in the area where I hit it and into my thumb.. I Hit it sort of the bones around the bottom of my thumb, but more near the wrist. If I press down on it, it feels from kind of uncomfortable to hurting. It doesn't interfer with day to day life, but it doesn't feel right if I mess with it. Should I get it checked out.

To further that I never really followed through with the splint/brace because they are so uncomfortable/ irritating(seriously make them not have stuff poking into my skin), so I'm thinking it might just need ice and rest. Any thoughts would be great, as I don't like to go to the doctor if I don't need to.
