I lost my temper and punched a wall. I went to the doctor the next day because I thought it was broke. He said it was fine and to just ice it. So yeah, its been 2 and half weeks and its still painful. Especially when I go to the gym and workout(pull ups and picking up dumbells). There is a knot on the back side of my left hand on the bone that connects to my ring finger. This seems to be where the pain radiates from. Could my hand have been broken and he missed it in the xray? He literally didn't spend more then 2 seconds looking at my hand. Should I go to another doctor and get it looked at again?
Thanks

I would just to be safe, but you know that's funny. I had the same thing. Whenever I gripped anything it hurt in the EXACT same place and finger. I seemed to have this little(what felt like)bone that was round and hurt whenever I applied pressure. However, I too am a lifter.

This stayed with me for quite a while, I'd say a few months. I think it may have been some sort of bur from lifting or friction from weights. It finally went away after a while but I'm still curious as to what it was. Go to the doc just to be safe and let me know what it is. Hope I helped.
