Hallucinations and epilepsy

Hallucination and epilepsy :My mother aged 75 had high fever after this she had some hallucination problem we thought it as a eye problem and contacted the opthalmic surgeon who performed cateract surgery after that she experienced more hhallucination she lost memory and started speaking things which are irrevelent.Some times she will be all right.So we contanted psychiatrist we gave medicines through whic there was no improvement.So he reffered this to neurologict who took the EEG and prescribed epileptic medicians after this hallucination problems has come down.But she became restless and more adament to take food and talk irrelevent things of fast.Please let me know the remidy and actual problema
