OK, stupid I know. I have had unprotected oral sex with stangers (men) at a bath house. I have always tested HIV negative. The other day I developed white patches in my mouth which I first thought was candida but fits the description of hairy leukophakia to a T. Are there other causes for this condition other than HIV? I here it's an early sign of HIV. I got PCR tested yesterday and am waiting on results. Should I be scared? I never let anyone come in my mouth but maybe a little precum. How dangerous is oral sex in aquiring HIV?

hi

it is not early sign of HIV infection.oral sex it is not regarding high risk,according to alot of studies HIV can't be transmitted by oral sex.so don't worry .do 4th generations test 6 weeks after the sex.

Testing with the HIV antibody test at the three months post exposure will conclusively determine that you are HIV negative. If you continue to feel sick after that, then test for HTLV and other infections.
