hello there. i am 23 years old woman who is currently having pitting nails. i went to my dermatologist like 2 weeks ago but she said it was not a sign of psoriasis by looking at my nails. she said it may be due to my habit of biting my nails.

but somehow, i also noticed that my toes are also pitted. it cant be due to my biting as i dont bite my toes.

i also loss hair and i don't know whether it is because of i used to straightened and curled my hairs. so basically, my hair is damaged. but i loss it quite a lot and it is making me worried.

and i have a weight problem...and irregular period.

is there any disease related to this other than psoriasis?

thanks!

my hair is damaged when i curled my hair in the salon. i'm not sure whether it is normal the quantity of the hair that i'm losing. when i am in the shower, i can lose quite a lot of hair when i'm trying to massage it while putting my conditioner. it freaks me out...though my friends said that it is normal for a long hair like mine. my hair is nearly reach my waistline.

and i also have pitting nails...though my doctor said that it was not psoriasis..as i dont have any sign of psoriasis and she said that the way the pitted nails look are different than psoriasis.

now. i am not sure what are the causes for my pitting nails and hair loss..
