hi!
my mom is in her 40s and she stop having her menstrual periods 3 months ago. Now, she start losing hair like crazy ... i notice that in the back of her hair she had like a little hole, it was small but now it has grow and it looks like the hair line of the back of her head is like coming up... i'm worry for her she used to have a lot of hair and now she is even afraid to comb her hair... and where she use to have hair, now it is a soft surface with no signs of hair growing back... she thinks it has something to do when she went to have her hair done....

please tell me what it might be...
I already made an appoinment with a dermatologist.

hello im 48 and losing my hair and missed a period for 5 months now and this is because i am menopause.
tell your mom to ask doctor when she sees him/her to take blood works as thats how i was confirmed.
I never had any other warning apart from missed periods so what your mom is experiencing is due to probably hormonal..
My hair even though thining is still in good condition so don,t worry im sure your mom will be fine.
