Nobody else in my family has this....and I'm the youngest....have had severe tightness , soreness and at times redness in my scalp even when under only small amounts of stress....gradually my hair began to receed..Could this just be a co-incidence or could the two be related. As nobody else in my family has this....I'd be sceptical of m.p.b theory as my G.P said is likely. I'm 29. Thanks A

Does it grow back when your stress is gone? Is the loss at the front or crown of your head where MPB occurs? 29 is not too young to start losing your hair. I had college friends who were significantly balding before we graduated.
