Im just worried and anxious. We had unprotected sex about 3-4 weeks ago and we were sexually active. We had sex on my most fertile day as well as we are ttc. Few day passed and i find myself getting extra trips to bathroom, feeling tired and weak at times and breast tender/bit larger at times as well. Considering this,i took pregnancy test but it came neg as i guess its too early for a hpt. My period is due on 19th, but i started to get brown spots followed by pink and then reddish watery bleeding which is new to me on a day earlier itself which is 18th. Today is my 3rd day of bleeding and its getting lesser now. Fyi, I were having so much of cramps and lower back ache for past two weeks. I doubt whether is this a vaginal bleedig or implantation bleeding. I still feel pregnant. Shall i take hpt a week later to confirm or is this normal / abnormal / serious?
Thanks for ur help, awaiting for ur reponse. pls help
Welcome to the ehealthforum and I am glad to help you out. I would suggest you to confirm the status of your pregnancy. For confirming the status of pregnancy by urine for pregnancy test (UPT), the most accurate way to test for pregnancy is to wait until after your period is due. First appearance of pregnancy hormone, HCG, due to implantation occurs 6-12 days after ovulation.
I sincerely suggest you to do a urine for pregnancy test and if the test comes negative, then please wait for your periods and repeat the test after 1 week of your missed periods date. This brown spotting can be due to implatation bleeding or corpus luteum defect in early pregnancy.
It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care.
